Background

Culture-lens was founded by Agnes Bamford, who has extensive experience delivering business and personal coaching, training and group facilitation. She has lived and worked internationally for more than 20 years and collaborates regularly with other consultants from her vast international network. 

She is a senior lecturer at the department for Strategy and Entrepreneurship at  BI Norwegian Business School. In addition, Agnes teaches intercultural communication to bachelor and master students at the Norwegian School of Economics. Agnes has a background from financial services in London, where she also served as a board member of the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce between 2013 and 2020. Agnes was also a board member of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR) UK from 2015 to 2020. She is currently a volunteer mentor for entrepreneurs on behalf of the charity Unity Spark.

Agnes  holds a PhD in international business communication from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), an MA in intercultural business communication from the University of London, a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCE) in business and personal coaching, a teaching PGCE in Education from University College London, and she is a graduate, 'siviløkonom', from the Norwegian School of Economics.
